Having spent years developing and perfecting standardized test-taking strategies,  S P E C S  is proud to announce that our reach now extends throughout and beyond the borders of the state of Alabama. Although we offer test preparation for any standardized test, including ASVAB, TEAS, etc., our primary areas of concentration for group services are ACT and GRE (Graduate Records Examination).

In addition to private tutoring, S P E C S  partners with colleges, school systems, community groups, non-profits, philanthropists, and faith-based organizations to provide ACT Boot Camps and GRE Boot Camps to students at a group rate.  Our most popular group and individual test-prep programs are outlined below.

BOOT CAMPS

NEW B.O.S.S. LEARNING ONLINE BOOT CAMPS
S P E C S offers its popular boot camp offerings on our new online learning platform, B.O.S.S. Learning! B.O.S.S. stands for Built on SPECS Strategies , so our clients have access to the same top-notch test prep services they expect from SPECS. Boot camps provide high-quality with our founder, Sherre Padgett, Ed.S. aka "The BOSS Lady!" Subscribers to B.O.S.S. Learning Test Prep have access to the following:
 
  • Unlimited access to the full boot camp to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule for the duration of the subscription
  • ​Instructional and practice videos for all sections of the test broken down into small parts
  • Practice test items and explanations
  • Additional resources and links to supplement instruction
  • BOSS Learning Live! Events with the BOSS Lady and other platform experts
  • Ability to ask questions via email
  • Affordable subscription pricing and adequate access time (usually 1 year)

GROUP BOOT CAMPS/ SEMINARS
Group Rates are available for groups of 10 or more. Groups can purchase B.O.S.S. Learning subscriptions at a discounted price or choose to sponsor a LIVE online boot camp or seminar of their choice, usually via the Zoom Virtual platform. Please contact us for further information.

HIGH SCHOOL / SCHOOL SYSTEM SPONSORED CAMPS
S P E C S frequently partners with individual high schools or entire school systems to provide S P E C S ACT PREP classes within their schools. B.O.S.S. Learning subscriptions, including videos, practice, and materials can be incorporated into any test prep curriculum. Support from administrative staff is also available throughout the courses and pre- and post-tests are available for administration. These classes are usually paid for by the school and are available at a discounted rate. What a great use of technology for test prep! COLLEGE / UNIVERSITY SPONSORED CAMPS
S P E C S often partners with colleges and universities to provide TEST PREP services for various programs within their system. Colleges and universities often host summer programs for high school students and desire to provide ACT PREP and GRE PREP services as part of the curriculum for these programs. B.O.S.S. Learning is a great tool for achieving this and we customize your online program to fit your needs. SPECS and B.O.S.S. LEARNING are there to answer the call with our proven strategies that work! PARENT / GROUP / MINISTRY / ORGANIZATION SPONSORED CAMPS
Often, parents contact us from areas that are not yet familiar with our services and desire to host a boot camp in their area. Many times, parents will team up to get a discounted rate for their children and some of their children's classmates. In the same manner, various groups, churches, and other organizations choose S P E C S to provide ACT PREP Boot Camps for their communities or programs.  Now, with B.O.S.S. Learning, SPECS has expanded its reach to throughout the world to reach all communities at an affordable price. Contact us to see how we can help your organization or group.

GRE-PREP BOOT CAMPS

In the same manner as S P E C S partners with college and university programs to provide ACT PREP services, we also partner to provide GRE PREP services to college students preparing to attend graduate school. The GRE Prep Boot Camp is also available on the B.O.S.S. Learning site for individuals and groups.
Private GRE PREP, as well as prep for other standardized tests is also available. Please contact us for more details.

One-to-One Test Preparation Programs

ACT / SAT / GRE / ASVAB / TEAS / ETC.

S P E C S provides comprehensive, effective, one-to-one private standardized test preparation for most major standardized tests. ACT, SAT, GRE, and most other standardized test one-to-one tutoring requires the purchase of an initial 8-hour package for first time students.
