Mr. Larry D. Robinson, Jr., teaches high school science at Jefferson Davis High School in Montgomery, Alabama.  He is certified for grades 7 through 12, and is highly qualified. He also serves as an Adjunct Instructor in Environmental Science Lab, at AUM (Auburn University at Montgomery), Montgomery, Alabama. He received a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Alcorn State University, Lorman, Mississippi, and a Master of Science in Biology Education, also from Alcorn State University. He is currently a Jackson State University Ph.D. candidate in Educational Administration Leadership.

Mr. Robinson has taught biology at Jim Hill High School and Forest Hill High School, both of Jackson Mississippi. While at Jim Hill, he served as biology instructor for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. While at both Jim Hill and Forest Hill, he prepared students for the Mississippi State Subject Assessment Test, with a pass rate of 91%. 

Mr. Robinson had college-level experience pior to his current role at AUM.  He served as General Biology Lecture and Lab Instructor, Microbiology Lecture and Lab Instructor, and Human Anatomy and Physiology Lecture and Lab Instructor at Hinds Community College, Utica, Mississippi.  While at Hinds, he served as Chairperson and District Vice Chairperson for Hinds Community College Faculty Council.

Standing at 6'8'' tall, Mr. Robinson, a former basketball standout, has an amazing love and passion for basketball, which is only surpassed by his love for his students and passion to see them excel. With his many responsibilites, Mr. Robinson still finds time to coach students in basketball, academics, and life in general. 

SPECS is proud to have such an honorable, inspiring, individual as a Community Relations Manager. As such, he is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within the community. When SPECS partners with school systems, colleges, faith-based organizations, and other community organizations for things such as ACT PREP boot camps, GRE PREP boot camps, college fairs, etc., they are assigned a Community Relations Manager to ensure the continued high quality of service that our community partners have grown to expect from SPECS.  Mr. Robinson comes equipped with the perfect blend of experience and perspective to help us continue to empower success for our clients.
